Robot Palletisers
The advantages of the robot palletiser, is they are very flexible regarding the design. They can simply pick up one bag & place it on a pallet, or multiple pick up points on to multiple pallets.
Pallet on The Floor
The empty pallet will be placed into the pallet locator by the forklift operator. Once the robot completes stacking the pallet, the system will allow entry via the light curtains into the palletising area. This ensures that the forklift can safely remove the full pallet and replace it with an empty pallet.
Pallet on Conveyor
The empty pallet will be placed onto the pallet conveyor by the forklift operator. The empty pallet will then be automatically transferred into position through a slot in the safety fencing as required. The robot will stack the bags onto the pallet. Once the pallet is full, it will automatically transfer out of the safety zone on the conveyor via a muted light curtain, and the next empty pallet will enter automatically to continue the process. This allows the system to proceed without the previous pallet being cleared before it can continue.
Full System
The empty pallets will be placed into the pallet magazine by the forklift operator. The bottom pallet will be automatically indexed into position for the slip sheet to be placed onto the pallet and will wait ready to be indexed into the bag loading position when required. The robot will then stack the bags onto the pallet. Once the pallet is full, it will automatically index out to the accumulation conveyors via the muted light curtain, and the next pallet will enter automatically to continue the process.
